For Our Clients with Their Project on Glass – Letter from Xpert BM at the End of 2025

The annual Christmas and New Year holidays have arrived once again. Looking back over the past three years, we have helped numerous clients complete a wide range of project on glass and have also received their valuable suggestions and feedback.

The past year was not without its challenges. We experienced trade wars, price wars, and issues with shipping, but of course, we resolved these problems effectively.

Delivery for 12mm Sapphire glass laminate Glazing

This month, we delivered a batch of sapphire glass laminate glass. The project consists of two parts: one is laminated glass for use as a railing, and the other is glass for indoor partitions. A few issues arose during this process.

Q1: The client requested that the glass color not be too green, as they are from outside the industry.

A1: Through our discussions, we discovered that the client’s main concern was the glass’s light transmittance. They thought the greenish hue would negatively impact the effect. After conducting comparisons, we ultimately decided to use China South Glass’s ultra-clear glass, which has a very low iron content.

Although it is more expensive than regular glass on the market, it is much more transparent and has better stability after tempering. This resolved the client’s concerns and helped keep the project on track.

Q2: The client is used to sourcing project on glass locally, and this was their first overseas purchase. They requested delivery within 6 weeks.

A1: The client is located on the East Coast of the United States, and typical shipping times are around 5-6 weeks. Considering potential delays with long-distance sea freight, we increased communication with the client. We also split the production process, as there were two types of glass involved: tempered glass and laminated glass. This approach allowed us to save a significant amount of time.

Since the deadline was tight, we coordinated with our shipping company to book the fastest direct flight and ensured that all relevant documents were prepared in advance. This way, the glass could be loaded as soon as production was completed. Additionally, we made sure the client’s payment was arranged ahead of time.

Ultimately, the client was satisfied with the solution and agreed to receive all the glass by mid-next month. Although the delivery time was extended by one week, the client was impressed by our coordination and efficiency, and accepted a 7-week delivery schedule.

Delivery Project On Glass – 17.52mm Clear Tempered Laminated Safety Glass

17.52mm Clear Tempered Laminated Safety Glass Delivery

Working with so many tempered laminated glass manufacturers, we know our client’s requirements. This delivery is for a facade system in the Philippines. The client wants to stable glass system for their office building. We are working with our aluminum system partner, and delivering based on their drawing, which is a 120 series curtain wall system with the laminated glass, ensuring the safety and stable for using a very long time.

We also meet some problems below:

Q1: Since the client is the property owner, they require us to provide a complete product suite, making installation convenience a top priority.

A1: Because we rarely undertake such projects in the past, especially those involving construction implementation support.

Our team has held meetings with suppliers over the past few days, focusing particularly on design and material supply—both critical aspects. The design primarily relies on the client’s original data, and during this period, we also conducted on-site video inspections with the client to confirm details. Although the overall scale is modest, ensuring prompt delivery and continuous usability is paramount.

Of course, the process wasn’t straightforward. For instance, the client’s budget posed a challenge. After comprehensive consideration, we determined that the budget wouldn’t support the full curtain wall structure or meet the client’s requirements for the entire building. This necessitated adjustments to project materials and overall structure—such as modifying individual curtain wall panel sizes, replacing glass, and revising complex design elements.

Through technical refinements within the client’s acceptable range, we managed to stay within budget. While the final cost slightly exceeded the original estimate, the client remains highly satisfied overall.

Q2: Questions raised by customers during installation after the delivery project on glass

A2: Some issues encountered by customers during installation: Since the customer selected offline coated glass project with sapphire glass laminate glass, installing it in the wrong orientation will result in color differences across the entire structure.

We have informed them that the coating layer of offline-coated glass is on Surface 3. Therefore, they must ensure Surface 1 of the 17.52mm tempered laminated safety glass is facing outward during installation. In fact, when we deliver the glass, the front side will have a label indicating whether it is the front or back surface, allowing them to know how to install it correctly.

The above are two examples that exemplify the glass projects we completed this month. Through these projects, we gained valuable insights into our clients’ needs and identified areas where we can improve. We are grateful to our clients for their continued partnership, which enables us to grow together.

Regardless, as we look ahead to 2026, it may still be a challenging year, but it will also bring many opportunities. I believe our clients are also contemplating how to position themselves for the future. We will move forward together, completing more exciting projects!
